As manager of integration programs for the National Immigration Forum, Helena focuses on managing the citizenship program for the New American Workforce program by engaging with municipalities and the country’s leading corporations to support immigrant integration.
Before joining the Forum in January 2020, Helena worked in direct immigration legal services and outreach for humanitarian, family and corporate matters at Baker & McKenzie LLC and Beach Oswald Immigration Law. She also volunteered with Upwardly Global as an English language coach and interview advisor.
Originally from Zagreb, Croatia, Helena received her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Political Science with a concentration in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from Stonehill College in 2013. She is currently pursing a Master’s in Public Management with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from Johns Hopkins University and expects to graduate in May 2020.
