Briggitte Suastegui
Business Engagement & Inclusion Programs Manager
As the Forum’s Senior Business Engagement & Inclusion Programs Manager, Briggitte (she/her/ella) coordinates and implements the Forum’s English at Work training initiative at partner worksites and remotely.
Prior to joining the Forum, Briggitte worked at CARECEN DC as the Citizenship Coordinator, overseeing the implementation of the organization’s citizenship education services, including classes, tutoring, and naturalization interview interpretation. While completing her graduate program, she worked as the Undergraduate Advising Assistant at American University’s School of International Service (SIS). At SIS, she co-authored and co-edited a policy briefing book, The Challenge of Climate Change in Latin America, for the U.S. Department of State.
Originally from Culver City, California, Briggitte earned her MA in Foreign Policy and National Security from American University and her BA in International Studies and Spanish Studies from American University.
