Marcela Aguirre

Marcela is responsible for supporting the communications team on digital strategy and implementation.

Prior to joining the Forum in January 2020, Marcela served as the digital director at Mike Johnston for Senate. She also worked as a digital project manager for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and an email fundraising strategist at Hillary for America.

Originally from El Paso, Texas, Marcela received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and minor in French, summa cum laude, from The University of Texas at El Paso and her Master of Arts in International Affairs from Boston University.
