Iklil Bouhmouch
Executive Associate
Iklil Bouhmouch serves as the Executive Associate at the National Immigration Forum, where she supports the President and CEO in executing day-to-day tasks and strategies by drafting communications and coordinating with various teams and partners.
Prior to joining the Forum, Iklil was a Research Assistant at the Center for Social Justice (CSJ), where she planned and executed immersion trips for students, faculty, and staff. These trips were designed to immerse participants in various social issues, fostering a deeper understanding and engagement with the challenges faced by different communities.
Iklil also served as the Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Coordinator at Georgetown University’s Center for Contemporary Arab Studies. In this role, she developed and implemented DEI initiatives, fostered an inclusive environment, and facilitated community discussions. These efforts contributed to the promotion of cultural competence and equity within her academic community.
With a Master of Arts in Arab Studies from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from UCLA, Iklil is passionate about advancing social justice and advocating for marginalized communities. She continues to leverage her knowledge and experiences to contribute meaningfully to the field of immigration policy and reform.
