Vice President & Chief of Public Affairs
Emily Foster brings over two decades of experience working in immigration and government affairs for Fortune 500 companies to her role at the National Immigration Forum. Emily serves as the Vice President & Chief of Public Affairs leading and connecting the Forum’s policy and advocacy work with its communications initiatives to promote and amplify the organization’s mission and strategy. Previous to her current role, Emily led the Forum’s business engagement work focusing on advocacy and worksite immigrant inclusion programs.
Prior to joining the Forum in October 2020, Emily worked for 18 years at Cummins Inc., where she helped launch the Government Affairs function, advocated on immigration and other business issues, and served as Treasurer of the company political action committee. Before Cummins, Emily began her professional career in the pharmaceutical industry working for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America and GlaxoSmithKline.
