WASHINGTON, D.C. — Veterans are speaking together today on the need for answers on immigration that benefit our veterans, service members and military overall.
Veterans for New Americans, a project of the National Immigration Forum, is a national network of influential veterans representing each of the military branches. These leaders are calling for solutions on immigration that strengthen our national security, enhance our military readiness and support our immigrant service members, their spouses and immediate family both at home and abroad.
This morning at the National Press Club they are speaking on the importance of bipartisan reforms, as well as how current immigration laws affect our immigrant men and women in uniform and immigrant veterans.
