Scott McConnell serves as executive director of LifeWay Research, a Nashville-based, evangelical research firm that specializes in surveys about faith in culture and issues that affect churches. With over 25 years of primary research experience, Scott has spent the last 12 years leading LifeWay Research’s national polling that regularly measures the views of Americans and Protestant pastors. These findings regularly appear in national and local newspapers, magazines, and online media. Studies have ranged from core church functions such as evangelism and discipleship to needs such as domestic violence, mental illness, and racial reconciliation.
