Let’s Talk Immigration: Pat Hatch

When Pat Hatch was living in Korea and struggling to learn the language, she took solace in knowing that one day she’d go back home and everything would be familiar again. But the experience made her question: what if there wasn’t a home to go back to? What if her life depended on learning the language? On this episode of Let’s Talk Immigration, field mobilizer Christy Staats sits down with Pat Hatch, refugee and immigrant ministry director for Ministry to North America. Together, they revisit that moment in Korea—and how it compelled Pat to work with immigrant and refugee communities once she was back in the United States.
