As the Forum’s Digital Communications Associate, Thea is responsible for maintaining and elevating the Forum’s Facebook and Twitter presence.
Prior to joining the Forum in March 2022, Thea taught undergraduate students advocacy skills to advance racial and gender justice through state-level policy change. She also worked in electoral and legislative politics at Planned Parenthood Action Council of Utah, completed internships in the Utah Legislature and at the Public Religion Research Institute, and organized with the New Sanctuary Movement to prevent the deportation of an asylum-seeking family in Salt Lake City.
Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Thea earned her B.A. in Peace and Conflict Stusies from the University of Utah.
