As chief of staff at the National Immigration Forum, Don Lyster helps formulate and implement internal policies to meet the Forum’s vision and goals. Don works with senior staff to ensure coordination and integration across all strategies to advance the Forum’s mission.
Before joining the Forum in December 2016, Don served as chief of staff and D.C. director at the National Immigration Law Center. He also has extensive experience serving in various capacities for members of Congress, including former Rep. Hilda L. Solis, for whom he was Chief of Staff, and former Sen. Paul Sarbanes.
Originally from Atlanta, Don received his B.A. from Loyola University Maryland and his J.D. from The Catholic University of America.
