As Vice President and Chief of Strategic Partnerships for the National Immigration Forum, Beth Sears develops and stewards partnerships with foundations, individuals and corporations to achieve impact and growth.
Prior to joining the Forum in September 2019, Beth advised many nonprofit organizations on development and strategy through her company, Amaryllis Advisors. Over the past year, Beth served as Interim Director of Development for a year for the Forum. Beth previously served as the Director of Investor Relations for NewSchools Venture Fund, where she was responsible for designing and implementing a three-year, $90 million campaign to invest in innovative school models and national education technology challenges. In the first year, the campaign raised $32 million. Previously, Beth was Special Advisor to Raising A Reader, a supporting organization of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, where she developed partnerships with individual and institutional funders. She also worked in the private sector as COO of Structured Products at JP Morgan and as a management consultant at Price Waterhouse in London and New York for both companies.
Originally from Londonderry, New Hampshire, Beth holds a Master’s in Creative Writing & Editing from the University of Canberra, Australia and is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and the London School of Economics.
