Building off the success of our “Living Room Conversation” series and “Out of Many, One” report, Leading the Way: An American Approach to Immigration brought together moderate and conservative faith, law enforcement and business leaders in Washington, DC to discuss the future of immigration.
This annual invitation-only gathering comprised three distinct, yet complementary events: a morning convening of plenaries and presentations; an afternoon of meetings with congressional offices; and an evening reception featuring the Keepers of the American Dream awards.
Convening, 7:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The Leading the Way convening featured the presentation of the Courage to Lead award to Senators Bennet (D-CO) and Lankford (R-OK), and three plenaries on the economy, the recent elections and American ideals.
Meetings with Congressional Offices, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Following the convening, attendees participated in more than 30 meetings with Democratic and Republican members of Congress to discuss immigration-related topics.
