June 12 Day of Action on Immigration Reform Will Send Clear Message to Congress

Former Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour and Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) to Speak

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Tomorrow, over a hundred faith, law enforcement and business leaders from around the country will visit congressional offices for the Bibles, Badges and Business to DC Day of Action for immigration reform.

As lawmakers begin to debate the immigration reform bill on the Senate floor tomorrow, they will hear from a unified group of Bibles, Badges and Business leaders who will urge them to pass commonsense immigration reform that grows the economy, helps keep our communities safe and is compassionate.

The “Bibles, Badges and Business to D.C.” event will feature a breakfast open to press with keynote speaker Gov. Haley Barbour and meetings with legislators to support the immigration reform bill.
