Let’s Talk Immigration: Belinda Ellison

On the Turkish border in 2014, a photographer took a photo of a young boy who had walked for miles in the heat in search of refuge. When Belinda saw that photo, she couldn’t get the image out of her head.

This week on Let’s Talk Immigration, field mobilizer Robbie McAllister sits down with Belinda Ellison, a refugee advocate and attorney based in South Carolina. Together, they discuss what led her to advocate for immigrants and refugees, and what it means to demonstrate compassion for the world’s most vulnerable.
