Dan Kosten

As Assistant Vice President of Policy and Advocacy, Dan Kosten advocates for policies and programs that prepare workers, including immigrants, to reach their full potential and meet employers’ talent needs. This includes improving immigrants’ English-language acquisition and ensuring they have opportunities to gain skills, credentials, professional licensures and work experience in the United States.

Before joining the Forum in June 2017, Dan worked for World Relief as their senior vice president of U.S. programs, Christoffel Blindenmission as a Regional Advisor, and for the Maryland State Department of Education as a Rehabilitation Specialist.

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Dan graduated from Calvin College and earned his master’s from Wheaton College.
