Alliance for Citizenship press call response to Senate Judiciary vote

2 p.m. Leaders from the Alliance for Citizenship, a national campaign working with hundreds of groups across the country to pass comprehensive immigration reform with a direct and inclusive path to citizenship, will host a telephone press conference to speak about the amendments that both strengthened and weakened the bill, and discuss the path forward as the bill moves to the Senate floor while the House takes up its own bipartisan legislation. House Judiciary Committee hearing

2 p.m. The House Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing titled “S. 744 Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act and the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986: Lessons Learned or Mistakes Repeated?” The hearing will be held in room 2141 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
